I have always been interested in the transformation of materials; the process of change as opposed to the final result. I am fascinated with materials that lie between use and disuse, stories that shift and change meaning with each telling and the childs imagination which animates all objects.

My illustrations, paintings and animations are taken from real footage, frozen and flattened, stopped in time; isolating the archetypes and stories I see. The narration unfolds in a combination of ancient and modern techniques leaving space for individual projection and recollection.

I truly feel that creativity can profoundly enhance the way we view ourselves and the world around us. It is empowering to sense that everything is in a cycle of flux; that through the transformation of perceptions and materials, we have the potential to transform our sense of self, of others and our environment.
