Kateryna Nazarenko is a Ukrainian painter from Kyiv, currently based in Bratislava, Slovakia. Holding a Master's Degree in Economics, Kateryna's lifelong passion for painting has become her central focus. In 2020, Kateryna began working with watercolors, and since then, she has devoted herself full-time to her art. By 2021, her works had started to be exhibited internationally, and for the year 2023, she took part in more than 10 international exhibitions and became an Associated Member of the Japan International Watercolor Institute (JIWI). On the international watercolor exhibition “Exposition Internationale d’Aquarelles Albi -2023” Kateryna’s artwork was selected to the TOP 50 landscape paintings.
In her paintings, Kateryna captures the continuity of life and the depth of emotions reflected in nature. Watercolors serve as her medium of choice, breathing life into her artistic expressions on paper. Presently, her focus is on portraying the sea as a reflection of human feelings and emotions. Whether one is feeling joy or sorrow, strength or vulnerability, gazing at the sea always unveils a poignant reflection of those emotions.
Kateryna’s works are exhibited internationally.
