Katharine Stinson Fine Artist

Katharine loves to paint Portraits which she has been doing since she was about 10 years old. She paints in Oils or draws in Pastels, Red Chalk or Charcoal on commission with many works in Private Collections. Katharine also enjoys teaching and has worked with her students to create large pieces of Art work and has recently completed a Huge Colourful 'Peace Wall' (4.5 x 2.5 metres) made from Recycled Bottles with her students and family in Cyprus. She also re-worked a set of black and white paintings based on Dancing Angels, a project she began while at Art School. Katharine photographs her surroundings with a particular interest in the light and shadow. After leaving Art School Katharine joined as a founding member of the Nine Elms Group of Artists, and exhibited with them for 5 years. Katharine is happy to work from Life or Photographs painting or drawing Landscapes or Portraits.
