Katherine Mander

I started to paint at the end of 2008 when my whole world was turned upside down. In February of that year, my beautiful daughter Emily passed away suddenly and without warning. Somehow I felt compeled to paint. Emily was a gifted artist and on discovering her art materials one day, I began on a journey into the world of art.

Art gave me a release somehow. I found it not only hugely therapeutic but I strongly believe that Emily is with me when I paint and guides me as I create.
