Kat Vitoush

My name is Katerina, I was born in Czech Republic, in Prague. For me it’s a wonderful city, full of culture, history, music and art.
When I was a child I used to go to galleries a lot, and from there was born my passion for painting. I’m painting since my childhood. However I’m dedicating to study of painting from 4 years ago. I did several workshops in Barcelona with the painter Natalia Carminati, later in the Massana School of art and now I continue the workshop with the painter Josep Maria Cabane.
I am very interested in abstract art, when I was child I didn’t understand it too much, and I made fun of saying that this could paint a little boy. But now I’m studuing it professionally, I realize that it is mire difficult, for me abstract art is an expression of oneself. I’m looking for to get a harmony in tones, lights and shadows. For me it is like life itself, that one seeks his way, until he finds harmony and peace
