"Inspired by history, I bring forgotten faces into the contemporary art sphere with experimental techniques and modern media. My work centers on historical portraits of women forgotten by history, and often addresses modern women’s issues through a historical lens."

Keight MacLean is a Toronto based artist, born and raised in small town Ontario, a recent OCAD University graduate, and an alumna of the University’s prestigious Florence Program, in Florence, Italy.
