Kenzy Cheeseman

Last year, I began creating botanical images to capture my father’s beautiful Wairarapa garden. All the flowers, leaves and seed pods featured are grown by him, handpicked and arranged in my own playful way, then captured through the photographic art of high resolution flat-bed scanography, followed by many hours of digital retouching to bring the images to life. My limited edition art prints preserve the transient beauty of nature through the seasons and celebrate all stages of a plant’s life cycle. I hope others can experience the calming effect nature has on the soul, to see its beauty through my eyes and enjoy it forever in their homes.

I have a first-class honours degree in Fashion Design and enjoyed art, photography and sculpture at school. Driven by my passion to create beautiful quality products, I went on to pursue a career in fashion, retail sales and marketing. I have explored various creative projects along the way, including creating a womenswear label, knitwear brand and accessories.
