Shailendra's work can be described as animalier and impressionistic realism. Specializing in Acrylic paint and charcoal, he began painting at the age of 03.

Shailendra's art has evolved over time to become more refined by time. Though still maintaining Wild animals and human as his prime subject matter, he is telling more stories. On a constant quest to push new boundaries, he is persistent in experimenting with his inspirations and artistic translations. Most of his paintings are related to animals and portraiture, he like to capture the true emotion of the subject with the help of light, shades and lines.
