MY ARTISTIC JOURNEY
In 2011 suffered from a seizure that left me with brain damage. Thus began my road to recovery - my painting journey, a voyage that at the time seemed futile; a ship with no sails.
I had, had a very long award winning successful career in music, film and video. I had worked with ever musical idol I could ever dream of meeting. I had worked on television shows that allowed me to fly around the world. I had been apart of making documentaries that changed people's perspective (or so I hope). Yet, here I was faced with my greatest challenge of them all, tackling the complexities of my own brain.
I was given an easel and small paint set that following Christmas by my now husband and I started painting for my own form of motor skill therapy. What I found lurking behind this tragedy was a self-taught bonafide ARTIST.
