Kevin Kuenster

Kevin Kuenster is an American artist currently being recognized for his narrative and surreal imagery. Influenced by 20th-century female surrealists like Leonora Carrington, Dorothea Tanning, along with other artists such as Paul Delvaux and Balthus, Kevin’s art weaves dreamlike fantasy into thought-provoking narratives.

Exploring themes around humanity’s connection to the natural world the delicate balance between reality and dreams, Kevin’s work has been featured in exhibitions and publications throughout the United States and Europe, winning THIRD PRIZE for painting at the Mediterranean Contemporary Art Exhibition, Potenza, Italy. Finalist Malamegi Lab.7 Imagoars Art Gallery Venice, Italy. Finalist the Prisma Art Prize Rome, Italy, and the Jurors Prize “Art of the Surreal, Fantastic and Bizarre,” The Barrett Art Center Poughkeepsie, NY.

Most recently Kevin’s work was included in “Altered Dreams,” the Royal Society of American Artists, Brooklyn, NY and, “Voyage” the ARC Gallery in San Francisco.

Kevin lives in the Hudson Valley just a few hours north of New York City.
