Luiz Komoda

I was born and currently live in Presidente Prudente, Sao Paulo, Brazil.
My work acquires aspects that are sometimes abstract, sometimes free figurative or a mixture of both. I use acrylic paint on canvas. I work horizontally because there are times when I use very wet or even dripping paint. The images arise from gestural actions, or post configured. Or they are pre-planned free figures. The public can perhaps visualize my intentions or else make free individual associations.
My position in relation to historical and contemporary art is to learn, to be inspired and to try to produce and perfect every work of mine according to the stage I am on.

I've been drawing since I was a child.
I studied in free courses and art workshops. I am a bachelor in higher education at the Faculty of Arts FAAP, Sao Paulo, Brazil.
