Mykola Kozlovsky is a Ukrainian contemporary artist who works in non-figurative painting.
Born in 1994 in Stupnytsia village, Lviv region. Now lives and works in Lviv, Ukraine.

Admiring the landscape from nature. I like to use the principle of three-stage painting in a modern way

I was born and raised in a small, beautiful village, surrounded by nature and beautiful landscapes. That's why I mostly paint landscapes in nature. The basis of my art is a harmonious composition, this is a common feature of any painting: from the Renaissance to abstraction.
Color has the main importance in my art, I do not copy the colors of nature, but combine colors harmoniously as in nature. I rarely mix colors mechanically, but mix optically, or use pure color.
The main source of inspiration for me is sunlight and forms of nature.
My abstraction is based on the constant movement and change of matter in space and time. For example: a tree grows from a seed, grows under the influence of sunlight, ground, gravity, air, the tree becomes a whimsical, unpredictable shape
