Guruprasad Ks

I was born in a small town kumbakonam (southern part of India) on the banks of the Cauvery river, surrounded by paddy fields and hundreds of villages.
This place has its own thousand years of history.
After I graduated from my five years BFA in Visual communication design from Bharathidasan university, I was relocated out of my hometown due to a job request.
Having travelled for twenty years in my art journey, I have experienced a lot in my life. I learned different languages, cultures, cuisines, climates, met many people. I have a passion for music and enjoy different genres of music. World events have kept me busy.
I love to spend time with family and friends, and I have great interest in emerging Technology.
I was able to produce some trans effects in my art work from this mixture of emotional experience from all of the above elements.
Experimenting with various Visual medium excites me and I am glad that I tried most of them.
Most of my artworks are Trace of emotional journey, Common man, Border less Nature.
The styles I followed were - Minimal Symbolism, Figurative and Abstract geometric composition.

After attending School, I went on to study at the College of fine art Kumbakonam, Under Bharathidasan university, A leading Art College in India, and graduated in 2002 with a Bachelor of Visual Communication degree in Applied Arts.
