Creation is a new painting series by American artist John C. Kuchera. Born in Cleveland Ohio and has lived in New York City since the early 1980s. Creation 1,2 and 3 will be featured in a group art exhibit in Chelsea called the 20” x 20” art show. The opening reception is Sunday, August 17th 2014 from 6-8pm. 253 West 24th Street. The Art Exhibit will be on view from August 17th to September 14th 2014,

He likes to do at least 12 of each of the series to ensure he has the right feeling for it. Like His onetime studio mate Noel Donaldson at the NAAS Harlem said “ once you do a few of them you can recreate them at anytime in the future, its kind of like riding a bike, you never forget.”

“Kuchera” speaking excitedly is Hans Wolf another NAAS Harlem member. “Seems to be single handedly bringing true inspiring painting back to the art world.” “Bright,happy and unique, is how I think of John” Stella Lilling is the founder of Showcase Your Art New York City. She invited John to make 3 new paintings for this 20” x 20” group art exhibit in Chelsea.
