My artistic career began in Moscow with the study of Prof. Voloshko at the Stroganov Moscow State University of Arts and Industry. I was born 1958 in Moskau and was strongly influenced by the USSR regime, and by the Soviet society. Control and rules played a crucial part in my life.
My paintings are inspired by the sensitive perception of an artist who observes today’s society and its main topics with a mindful and curious sight. I devote special
attention to people in every-day situations. The content of my work will only become obvious after an inner reflection of the recipient, processing information, own experience and associations.
