I am an artist, inventor, and educator in the art-ed space.
My expert geometry skills and classical drawing knowledge give me a unique understanding of creativity and the ability to work fluidly across all the visual arts.
My knowledge of geometry and classical drawing enables me to combine these two fields to make stunning, interactive 3D art images that have reached audiences in more than 30 countries. My art program founded with the Music Center of Los Angeles earned me the Kennedy Center Medallion for my outstanding contribution to arts education. As an authority on color theory, I speak on why we do not understand color correctly. I have spent decades explaining why the lost art of classical design is an essential toolbox we need, along with an understanding of the nature of creativity so we can help solve the problems we are facing today. I have an award-winning National Geographic documentary on my work, I’ve given a TED talk, I’ve been a lecturer for the National Gallery of Art and the Smithsonian Institution, and a workshop leader for Disney and Warner Brothers Studios. I’m passionate about inspiring others by sharing what I know.
