Born in Mexico City, Aleida Flores is an emerging artist currently living and working in Paris, France.
In a perpetual quest for her own identity she draws from both cultures, neither rooted in one nor expatriate in the other, she embodies a fusion of multiple forms of self-perception. She explores this identity by contrasting forms and colors -- chaos and balance.
Her work process results in designs which interlace and superimpose in unexpected ways -- composition blossoms into emotion. Randomness is fundamental to this artistic approach.
Her experience as a digital graphic designer and artist is the source of her artistic process which relies heavily on digital as well as painting techniques to create a unique work.
