Laura Iosifescu is a boundary-breaking contemporary artist and graduate of the University of East London, as well as the visionary founder of the award-winning Laura I. Art Gallery. Widely regarded as one of the UK’s most innovative and inspiring creatives, Laura is redefining what painting can be—transforming it into an immersive, kinetic, and even wearable art form that defies categorisation.

Her practice blurs the lines between painting and sculpture, bringing vibrant, three-dimensional landscapes to life in ways that physically respond to the environment. Each piece is a living entity—changing with movement, light, or interaction—making every encounter a unique and personal experience. Her materials erupt from the canvas, cascading beyond the surface, as if the work itself breathes and evolves with time.
