Laure Bury

"I am inspired by the beauty of our wonderful planet and am known for my vibrant Landscapes, Seascapes and colour compositions with Butterflies. I have lived in many countries including France, Spain and Mexico. This has definitely influenced my way of seeing the world and also the colours on my palette.
I build up many layers of vibrant colourful oils to create texture and emotion.My paintings are a powerful, tangible and universal expression of the triumph of the human spirit".

Laure is mainly self taught but completed a year's Foundation course in Art at Plymouth college of Art and Design, another year's foundation course in Art therapy at Insider Art in Exeter and a year's Studio Practice course at the Prestigious Newlyn School of Art. She has been fortunate enough to study alongside amazing artists such as Jesse Leroy Smith, Nina Royle, Amanda Hoskins, Marie-Claire Hammon, Jon Doran, Nick Collier and Kate Walters. Each one of these artists has brought a little magic to Laure's canvas
