Laurie Vaughn

I'm an abstract expressionist painter born in New York City in 1953. I've worked as a professional artist since 1998, largely creating original abstract expressionist and figurative expressionist paintings. My classic abstract expressionist paintings are derivative of influences from the New York School art movement, as I create from the perspective of a "third tier" artist, in this historical tradition. Additionally, I paint figurative expressionism, which includes additional influences from the CoBrA art movement.
