Derek Lawrence Collier

I started painting about 30 years ago then after an injury that stopped me working it became a therapy and a passion over the years my work progressed from painting harbour scenes to abstract and was influenced painters like Gerhard Richter and Mark Rothko, I like using unusual methods for applying paint.

I left school at 15 went back to college at 20 for about 5 years I am a self taught painter.
