Lawrence Kirk is a 27 year old visual artist living in Washington DC. He is called to make art to satisfy the need to process all the visual, aural, and tactile stimulation in day to day life.
His artistic objective is to craft a oeuvre of representation that supports others on the journey of understanding the effects of what we absorb visually everyday. To achieve this goal he works in a large expanse of mediums from traditional material such as paint to new material like 3D modeling and game design.
This year Lawrence has shown work in three local galleries, Hole in The Sky, Portico Gallery, and Edmund Burke Gallery. Currently he is residing in a local art collective and applying for post graduate programs in the fine arts.
