Lena Cher

Lena Cher was born in 1986. She lives and works in Moscow and Los Angeles.

Educated as an interior designer, Lena continues to expand her creative horizons. She studied at The Modern School of Design in Moscow with an emphasis on watercolor painting with special attention to landscapes, portraits and nudes. In 2011, she graduated from Fashion Lab Vyacheslav Zaitsev with a degree in Fashion Design and, at the same time, worked as a fashion model to support herself.

Lena graduated from a directing course at the Drama School of German Sidakov. In 2016, she continued her studies in painting, turning to modern techniques of liquid acrylic (liquid technique), alcohol inks and epoxy resin to create strong visual effects.

Lena's artistic endeavors and style are influenced by her belief of happy accidents coinciding with a desire for harmony. Starting with the definition of a balanced formula, Lena chooses color combinations and outlines the composition of a future picture. At this stage, to inspire and shape her work, Lena often draws upon images of nature and the built environment.
