Of Spanish and Italian descent, I was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where I studied drawing, painting and printmaking. My aesthetic blood comes from artists. My great-grandfather, a painter from Malaga, was a traveling artist who arrived in Argentina in 1930 to make lithography wine labels. I feel very connected to him.
I have been drawing since I was very young and from the age of 12 I began to study drawing in renowned art workshops. I had excellent teachers such as: Carlos Nine, world-renowned draftsman and watercolorist, Hemerejildo Sabat, draftsman and plastic artist, one of the greats of South American plastic and graphic art. I did my studies in schools inclined towards drawing, finishing them at the Superior School of Fine Arts of Buenos Aires.
In my career, I have received several awards and recognitions. Among them, the Coca Cola Award for the arts, I was selected by the Internationale Jugendbibliothek in Munich (White Ravens catalogue) and also 3 ALIJA awards at the Buenos Aires Book Fair, to name a few.
Over the course of my career I have held both collective and individual exhibitions and many of my works have been acquired by various ministries of the Argentine government. One of the most important ex...
