Liane Katsuki

Liane Katsuki is born in Entre Ríos, Bahia, Brazil and currently resides in The Netherlands. Previously she has lived in France, Brazil, Japan and Spain.She is mainly dedicated to the three dimensional disciplines, that is, the Author’s Jewellery and the Sculpture.
She has been president of the Association of Author’s Jewellery (AJA) from 2002 to 2017 and is currently President of Honour of this Association.

After studying Fine Arts in her country (Salvador de Bahia), she completed her studies at the School of Fine Arts in Paris and Toulouse (France). She expands her knowledge of jewellery in Toulouse with Rick Skatula and in Emmen (Holland) with Hans Keen. In Holland she polishes the techniques of sculpture in the workshop of Noud de Wolf and the techniques of stained glass in the workshops of Lico and Broeder Aquino. She also served major designers, among them the French Pierre Cardin.

She is a multidisciplinary artist who has more than three hundred solo and group exhibitions since 1972.
Her Art Work is present in important museums and private collections.
She has won numerous international awards.
