Painter/printmaker Linda Goodman lives and works in the San Francisco Bay area. She has been making art, teaching and exhibiting in the USA and abroad for over twenty years. A pioneer in monotype, hundreds of artists in the Bay Area have studied with her, often receiving their initial exposure to the medium.
Goodman has received numerous awards, fellowships and honors, including a 2015 Residency at Chalk Hill Artist Residency at Warnecke Ranch & Vineyards, Jerome Fellowship from Kala Institute and a Residency at Malaspina Printmaking Workshop in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Linda has exhibited widely in the US and abroad. In 2010, Il Bisonte International School of Graphic Arts mounted, “C’era Una Volta a Firenze (Once Upon a Time in Florence)”, a retrospective of her work made in Florence and the US. Goodman has a deep appreciation of Italy and a special relationship with Florence, having lived and worked there repeatedly.
