Xiaoning Yu

My name is Xiaoning Yu, since I was a child, I've been passionate about European art and culture. At the age of 16, I began to study drawing and painting with a private art teacher in my city. After a brief experience in Portugal, I moved to Italy, where I currently reside, and where I had the opportunity to learn European culture and artists.
For me, painting is a way to escape from daily life and enter into an ideal place where we can find beauty, joy, imagination, and aesthetics. At the same time, painting is also a means and a tool to reveal reality, explain contradictions, and transcend reality.
