Elizabeth Ross

My practice has been focused in exploring how identity, genre, transmigration, myth and ritual intertwines in uncommon territories, looking for empathetic flows of action and thought on this liquid world.
My work researches how mythologies create mental structures, strengthening the dominant powers affecting mainly women, and how social resistance is a balancing energy that constructs deep changes and new sustainable myths, constantly designing society.

An important aim of my work deals with community interactivity and co-creation of the poetic-artistic action, in a social and natural medium able to broaden traditional art spaces.

My practice evolves through a constant development of intertwined diverse and multiple actions, with feminism as a cross line. For me all is artwork.
