Lynda Edwards

Lynda Edwards' use of lush, vibrant colors and a strong impressionistic style brings a whimsical surrealist quality to her work. Born in Puerto Rico in the late 60s, Edward's exquisite sense of design, color and form is heavily influenced by her time on the island, and is reflected in her work.

A graduate of the Newark School of Fine and Industrial Arts, Edwards began honing her skills under James McGinley and other master painters while at school.

A modern day folk artist, Edwards exhibits a command of the canvas and a refreshing interpretation of technical style. Edwards' bold impressionistic landscapes and surrealistic studies are symbolic of her life and personality.
