Lynsey Ewan

Born in Perth, Scotland in 1979.

Lynsey's paintings of garden and woodland details, in oils on large canvases, are strikingly rich in colour and highly sought after. Her inspiration comes from the cycle of nature, and the wonderful colours each season produces. She is fascinated by the effects of sunlight on plants, which create unusual patterns, glowing edges and wonderful contrasts, which she photographs and paints from.

Her work is exhibited regularly in galleries around the UK, at art fairs, and is held in public and private collections around the world. Public collections include Art UK () and the Public Catalogue Foundation's printed catalogue for Dundee ().

Private buyers range from architects, art investors, business people and interior designers, to those wishing to bring a splash of colour and beauty to their homes.

Graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art (University of Dundee, UK) in 2001 with a BAhons in Fine Art(Class 2:1).
