Artist and photographer, Magdalena focuses on landscape and space perception, working with concepts, cultural and social experiences. With a solid background in urban design, photography and intercultural relations, she applies a multidisciplinary approach in her work and research.
Inspired by the environment and natural phenomena Urbanska uses drawing, installation, photography and text as main tools, connecting research and intuitive visual languages. Her practice has been evolving toward a personal and organic vision within a range of ideas based around place-making and trans-identity.
Originally from Poland, Urbanska currently works and lives in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
