Maja Kalo

As a figurative artist at the intersection of impressionism and new media, I'd like to push the boundaries of traditional painting techniques to create captivating works of art that bridge the gap between the tangible and the intangible.
Embarked on my experimental artistic journey, exploring the fusion of impressionism and new media, last summer I immersed myself in the world of AI and its infinite possibilities, I delved into the realm of figurative painting, where I discovered a newfound passion for depicting enigmatic figures against luminous backgrounds.
In the latest series of oil canvases, I am trying to captivate viewers with a mesmerizing juxtaposition of abstract and figurative elements. The figures that emerge from the canvas evoke a sense of mystery and intrigue, inviting the viewer to immerse themselves in a realm where imagination takes flight.
The interplay of light, texture, and brushwork infuses the works with a dynamic energy, breathing life into the figures that grace the canvas. Through this approach, I invite viewers to question the limits of traditional art forms and embrace the limitless possibilities offered by the digital age.
