Manuela Beyer

My work is about the question of what is "true identity", or the question "who I am really beyond my function, sozial and society roles.
My work is turning around our head, the part of us, we represent, and the place, which represents our way of thinking.
My interest is to look behind the illusion of body and behind the mask.
Who we are behind all our playing roles, and "make- up"surfaces?
What I found is a forever young soul, who shows me more the feelings we normally hide, than the "always- smiling" mask of the games we play.
