I’m interested in creating color field paintings intuitively, focusing on ethereal light and mood through use of color and texture - influenced by nature and my surroundings, abstract landscapes, seascapes, and organic floral imagery make their way on to the canvas. There’s no plan. Push and pull, ebb and flow of the pigments - multiple layers of thin glazes and color washes. Music inspires and influences the direction of each painting - the outcome unknown.
