Mariana Baciu

Mariana Baciu is a contemporary artist based in Moldova. Her paintings are inspired by scenes from nature, focusing on plein-air paintings of landscapes, seascapes and flowers bouquets. Her works depict calm and peaceful scenes from nature, allowing the viewer to feel the serene and meditative atmosphere of her paintings. Her works communicate a sense of calm, and highlight the many beautiful scenes of nature from vast sunny landscapes to blossoming flower buds. She focuses on capturing the changing of light and the passing of seasons, often venturing outside to sketch and paint her works in the open air. Throughout her professional career her works have been exhibited in both national and international shows, and are part of private collections around the world.
