Marina Aliverti

I am an artist, a photographer and a designer.

This project consists of a beguiling blend of photographs and paintings.

My inspirations are wide-ranging but my love of the special lights found on water, ice, and snow are the sparkles of my present works. In addition, friends in the fashion world have inspired many of my brightly colored portraits.

In other words, I paint what cannot be photographed and I photograph what I cannot paint.

I am a graduate of the world-class Artistic Textile Design Institute in my home-town, Como. I have extensive design exhibition experience in Paris, London and Florence, ranging from fashion, design, and painting.

My studios are in Cernobbio (Lake Como) and St. Moritz.
