Ranka Radovanovic

Ranka Markovic Radovanovic was born in 1977 in S.Palanka, Serbia. She graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade, department of painting in 2003 and completed post-graduate (master) studies in 2007. During her studies, she was awarded (2002) from Faculty of Fine Arts with the "Ljubica Cuca Sokic" award "for the best small format painting". This was followed with the award from the fund "Mr Miodrag Janjusevic" for the best results in painting for the students attending the final year of studies (2003). In 2006 and 2007, Ranka received fellowship for the Artists in residence program in Cite International des Arts in Paris. She was represented Serbia (2008) on the XIII Biennial of Young Artists from Europe and Mediterranean in Puglia, Italy. In 2012 she received Special Recognition of the Jury on XI International Biennial of Miniature Art in Gornji Milanovac, Serbia.
She is a member of the Association of the Visual Artist of Serbia as of 2004.
Ranka Markovic is living and working in Belgrade, as a freelance artist.
