Born in Sallent, Barcelona. 1963
For many years I worked in the world of graphic design, packaging, design of commercial stands and exhibition spaces.
At the same time I began to study the formal relations between elements, and between them and space, in an absolutely free way, without functionalist ties.
The relation between form and emptiness relates spirit and matter. This is the eternal dialogue of the human being, and I allow myself to continually review my work. The aesthetic relationships between an object and another object, between an object and its environment are actually energetic relations, real, that we capture and let ourselves be captured by its hypnotism.
I understand art as a spiritual end, I believe that the subtle energetic relationships that our being captures make sense of contemplation and physical contact with sculpture. Steel is my material, I think it connects energetically with the earth (for iron is the predominant mineral in its core)
My contact and learning definitely declines me by the iron as material, after several tests with other materials.
I carry out commissions and also exhibitions.
