Martin Villalonga

Renowned Argentine artist born on June 5 1950 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is a painter and draftsman.
His work reflects abstract expressionism with eclectic use of form and color.
The expression of the stain and the line stands out on his work, as well as his mastery of the use of techniques and materials.
Martín was a promising artist since his childhood, selling his first painting at the age of 13.

He studied at the Manuel Belgrano National School of Fine Arts until 1977.
He was pupil of the master engraver Victor Dehlez from 1969 until 1977.
He was pupil of the painter Graciela Sabatini from 1970 to 1973.
