Maryam Ebrahimi

Artworks of Canadian-Iranian artist, Maryam Ebrahimi, are magnetic in their meditative flow. Her paintings have captivated the attention of viewers and collectors from all over the world for their calming silhouettes and vibrant colours. A professionally trained artist, Ebrahimi's work has been showcased nationally and abroad in solo and group exhibitions including presentation at the Hangzhou Arts and Crafts Museum, Zhejiang, China; and the University, Baja California, Mexico. Her work may be found in the corporate collection of the State Farm Insurance Company, Lomita, California and private collections in Canada and Europe.

Maryam Ebrahimi is known for the use of limited colour pallets combined with heavy layers and seamless brush strokes. Her original work is full of depth, movement and hidden element; thus, it invites the viewer to explore the unexpected textures like mechanical drawings used as part of the overall composition.

Maryam Ebrahimi holds a four-year diploma in Graphic Design and Bachelor of Fine Arts from Azad University of Tehran.
