I like conceiving my work as “sounding music for the eye.” My pieces evolve as music structures that render dynamic forms of representation. All my works are 'emergent notations' musically performed and engraved with an old heavy-duty music typewriter (Olympia Musicwriter). Music typewriters never had a widespread use after lithographic and metal printing blocks for music printing, so my works also aim to revive an engraving practice almost unknown in our current digital times.
