Diego Tirigall

Born in Buenos Aires in 1976 and now based in Spain, Diego Tirigall grew up in a family of antique dealers and art restorers, instilling in him a deep respect for art from a young age. A self-taught artist, Tirigall has developed a unique style that blends elements of neo-expressionism, art brut, and street art. His work is characterized by bold primary colors and a knack for deconstructing pop culture, offering a critique of modern life without dwelling on its darker aspects. Tirigall's art aims to activate critical reflection in the viewer, challenging them to decode and engage in meaningful debate on current issues like financial decentralization and screen addiction.

Initially starting his career in graphic design and motion graphics for TV, Tirigall's versatility has allowed him to collaborate with specialized wall art companies and expand his artistic repertoire. His countercultural aesthetic and critical gaze have resonated globally, solidifying him as a key figure in the artistic avant-garde.

Diego Tirigall's work has been showcased in galleries from Seoul, South Korea, to Beverly Hills, USA. He was selected among 150 artists worldwide for Saatchi Art's inaugural NFT project, which sold out within minutes. His art is also part of private collections worldwide, alongside works by other renowned artists. Among his standout pieces is "Tulip Mania," a triptych that critiques capitalism, and "Geppetto’s GPT Awakening," which explores the role of artificial intelligence in modern life.
