Mia Stark

Mia Štark was born in 1992., in Osijek, Croatia. She graduated in 2017 from the Art Academy in Osijek, at the Department of Fine Arts, Sub-department of Graphic (Printmaking).
In 2019. she graduated from the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb, at Contemporary Dance Department at the .

The area of ​​her interest is interdependence within contemporary art practice, especially within visual and performing arts. She acts as a multimedia artist (based on a combination of media - body, drawing, traditional graphics) and is actively exhibiting in Croatia and abroad. She is the recipient of two Rectors Award.
2016/2017. Rector's Award from the University of Zagreb and 2015/2016. Rector's Award from the University of Josip Juraj Strossmayer in Osijek.
At the moment she works and is based in Zagreb, Croatia.
