Michael Addison

Mike is an established Printmaker and artist. His work explores the facades of buildings and other structures investigating the interplay between surface and colour with subtle notions of space inferred by reflection and shadow. His prints are inspired by a visual survey of places where he has lived or worked. Images are carefully selected and often conspicuously edited.

In addition to a flourishing creative career in printmaking and illustration Mike have held numerous academic roles.

Educated at art schools in the UK and USA with an MA in Printmaking from Chelsea School of Art in London. Mike was awarded a Fulbright Post Graduate Scholarship to California.

Mike's prints have been exhibited widely in the UK and abroad including the US, Canada, Finland, France, Spain and China. His work is included in numerous private, corporate and public collections world wide .
