Miguel Nigro (1966, Bragado, Argentina)
He is working as visual artist and scenographer in his country and abroad. He participated at congresses, conferences and meetings on theater and visual art. He is author of articles on stage design and ilusionism. He took part in art festivals, art cycles, theater encounters and in visual arts exhibitions in Argentina and other countries.
He is currently pursuing his work as painter, scenographer and university professor and living in Buenos Aires.
Graduated from P. Pueyrredón National School of Fine Arts (Painting speciality) and from Ernesto de la Cárcova School of Fine Arts (Stage Design speciality). Graduated in Stage Design from National University of Arts (UNA). Doctoral student from UNA.
Miguel Nigro’s work has been the subject of numerous solo and group exhibitions since 1982 as well as theater in his country and further abroad, including National Fine Art Museum (Buenos Aires), Fine Art Museum (La Plata), Castgnino Museum (Rosario), Argentinian Embassy of France (Paris), Modern Art Museum (Buenos Aires), Plastica Nueva Gallery (Chile),
CELARG (Venuzuela), Arte x Arte Gallery (Buenos Aires), Holz Gallery (Buenos Aires).
