Hello! I’m Michael Ayandokun, a London-born artist now based in Chile. My journey has taken me from the vibrant streets of North London to the colorful landscapes of South America, where I continue to explore art as a bridge between cultures, stories, and everyday life.
My Backstory
Raised in London with a love for cinema, football, and storytelling, I discovered early on that creativity was my way of connecting with people. After studying Latin American Studies and Informatics of the Humanities, I moved to Chile, where I’ve blended my passions for education, community, and art into a unique practice.
Inspirations
My work is inspired by:
Cultural storytelling – weaving narratives from diverse traditions.
Nature & symbolism – finding meaning in everyday forms and colors.
Community life – transforming shared experiences into visual expression.
What Makes My Art Unique
I combine abstract art techniques and photography to make art that feels alive and accessible. Whether through bold colors, layered textures, or symbolic imagery, my pieces invite viewers to reflect, connect, and imagine. Each artwork is not just a product—it’s part of a larger journey of creativity, resilience, and cultural exchange.
