Milena Favet

Born in 1992, I was raised and educated in France before moving to South Africa in 2017. Since then, I have made my home in the heart of the Garden Route. Its amazing indigenous forests, wild coastlines, lakes, rivers and moutains are a daily source of inspiration.

Art has always been a part of my life and I have always loved painting and drawing as an expression of my inner truth. I graduated with distinction at the ISBA Fine Arts school in Besançon, France in 2015 and spent six months studying traditional visual arts among others at the Mimar Sinan Fine Art school in Istanbul, Turkey in 2014.

I consider the painting process as being a meditative experience which opens the doors to various levels of consciousness and connect my body to its energies. My artworks offer an experience of colors and their unique vibrations celebrating the Feminine Energy living in each of us. Her softness, sensitivity, wild and mystical facets, incredible strenght and radiant power.

My paintings are a sensual dance of emotions, intuitions, feelings bonding, melting, separating and melting again in grace and oneness. They are the souls of the world, the inside of physical forms, the essence of Life ; doors of inner worlds, welcoming you.
