Miran Kres

Miran Kres completed his studies at the University of Ljubljana, where he began showcasing his artistic talents through both group and solo exhibitions. For a period, Kres resided and worked in Amsterdam, where he garnered significant acclaim through a series of distinguished fine arts and multimedia projects. Upon returning to Slovenia, he has been pursuing a career as an independent artist.
Kres's oeuvre spans various media, including painting, graphic art, and installation. Central to his work is the exploration of color, light, and space, with a focus on their psychological impacts on the viewer. He delves into artistic expressions, continually refining his approach with increasingly minimalist yet strikingly vivid colors and forms. His objective is to evoke a sensory experience, fostering a physical dialogue with the viewer through visual perception.
His works are esteemed components of both public and private collections.
