Mirelle Ortega

Mirelle Ortega Rosas was born in 1986 in Mexico City.
Mirelle tries to represent people in their most intimate reality in front of a public that can feel empathy for the image, taking them to different interpretations and questionings into their own introspection. Of allegorical nature, her painting concentrates on the human being and its importance in every artistic representation, as a creator or as art itself, always exploring in the complexity of our own fields.
Mirelle claims to work with a technique that walks hand in hand with the concept without downplaying importance, on the contrary, both aspects elevate and complement each other.

BFA from the National School of Arts (UNAM) in 2009.
Artistic Anatomy Diploma from San Carlos Academy (UNAM) in 2010.

Mirelle has exhibited her artwork more than 50 times at Mexico City, San Miguel de Allende, Los Mochis, Culiacán, Oaxaca, Puebla, Cuernavaca, Apaseo del Alto and abroad Mexico at Sibiu, Tokyo, Barcelona, Milano and Ireland. Five solo shows at Chapingo University, Microteatro México, Casa Galería México, The Museum of Tequila and Mezcal and was invited to show her work at the National Psychiatry Congress at Fray Bernardino Psychiatric Hospital.
