Marie-José Domenjoz is an artist whose professional creative career has taken her from graphic design to free and personal research in painting.
Her painting is abstract, expressive, gestural with some figurative resurgences ready to hide or be dissolved. She is inspired by the human, the silhouettes, the crowds, the look, the face. In this way, she approaches the relationship of the individual to the world, the fragile human condition.
She likes the freedom of the line, it is an intuitive painting, a fight between chaos and order, between simple and complex.

Her work is held in private collections in the US and Europe.
